the state of service at the minute...

Mon Sep 7, 2009, 8:53 AM
Sorry, I know i've tried to organize a few shoots with people this summer and had to re-schedule and then gone quiet. It is because my younger brother is VERY ill and may be for sometime and therefore I've been required to re-sort out my life and move into the family home to help look after him (anyone that knows him knows that he is a big git and will also know i'm the only one who can really heft him about).

Normal service should be resumed by the turning of autumn, and I will be looking for people to do the following shoots:

1 Art Nude/Gore,
Various stock photos (alternative, High Fashion, & Headshots)
I'm also hoping to begin a project based on spirit photography which will involve multiple location shoots AND will be the subject of a book/exhibition.
I'm trying to get my hands on a stero camera and a triple lens camera for some experimental portraiture to try and work into the femme fatale calendar shoot Idea I've mentioned previously.

Most of the shoots will have to be TFCD + Travel as i'm going to shell out whatever I have on equipment and my own travel.

Message me for questions regarding the shoots and availability for other projects and look out for the casting calls.

My personal preference is for location rather than studio shoots, and I have somewhat of a fetish for monochrome and stark lighting in the style of early 20th century film and photography… think Mick Rock and Antony Corbjin. I’m very much also into Victorian spirit photography and the work of people such as Erlend Mørk, Stephen Kasner, Jeffery Scott, Joachim Luetke, Nena Blue, Gottfried Helnwein, Chad Michael Ward, Matt Lombard, John Coulthart, Waken the Dead, Owain Richards, and of course Salvador Dali.

Though in comparison, aside from Salvador Dali, my photo-shopping skills are nowhere near as good as the rest of these fine artists. For hire work such as model portfolio’s or bands, I prefer to shoot as simply and stylishly as possible to create a good base for later manipulation by the client or for my own portfolio.

I would like to expand my portfolio in all directions but particularly in vintage and alternative fashion and pin-up photography.
